Summit Bliss at Grießenkareck
This varied circular hike starts at the Starjet 2 mountain station and leads past the Latschenhof mountain inn to the war memorial crosses.
From there, the trail follows the ridge all the way up to Grießenkareck.
The final 15 minutes to the summit require sure-footedness and a good head for heights. The return route leads via Saukar back to the lift station.
With a walking time of around 1 hour and 45 minutes, this tour is ideal for experienced hikers and families who enjoy being active in the mountains.
If you would like to extend the route, continue from Grießenkareck across Saukarfunktel (2,028 m) to Saukarkopf (2,014 m). Afterwards, follow the trail signposted towards Frauenalm (trail no. 41), turn left at the junction onto trail no. 45, and return to the Latschenhof mountain inn.
